Detasseling Update

We should be clear for the 4th weekend. Enjoy your time. Detasseling will start after the 4th. Depending on where you live, your crew should start between the 6th and 13th of July. Detasseling should go 3 weeks; in some areas it will go into August a bit.

We usually have 2-3 days notice and will text out to the crew the start date and pickup times. We'll also post that information on our website sjdetasseling.com. Please look under "Crews" at the top for your crew page with your pickup times and specific information.

Facebook: We also post detasseling starting days per crew on our Facebook page. Please LIKE us, so you get the posts (or have a parent do so). Facebook: facebook.com/SandJDetasselingInc

Ensure that you have your lunchbox, water jug, long-sleeve lightweight shirt, raincoat (or heavy garbage bag), lace-up tennis shoes, pants (most wear shorts with tights underneath), sunscreen for your face, and a writing pen to be kept in your lunchbox ready to go. We don't want to share pens or phones this year. We will provide your personal protective equipment such as an orange hat with net, safety glasses, gloves, mask while riding bus, and hand sanitizer.

Let's have a productive and fun season. We'll see you soon!

Roguing Update

All roguing crews have been started. We are off to a great start!

Workers: Please ensure you are signed up for the group texts that your supervisor will send out. Pickup times may change, work may be cancelled for various reasons, etc, so these texts are essential to have the most current information. If you are not signed up for these texts, please ask your supervisor tomorrow as to how you sign up for the texts. Thx!
